Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Shift: Day shift; may vary slightly/flex as needed

Assignment: Contract


Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of outpatient pharmacy experience , strong attention to detail, and a consistent employment history.


Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the outpatient pharmacy.
• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and prescription processing.
• Enter and maintain prescription and patient information accurately.
• Assist with inventory management and medication stocking.
• Follow all pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Provide professional and courteous support to patients and pharmacy staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Outpatient Pharmacy Technician experience.
• PA Pharmacy Registration is required.
• Must hold PTCB or CPHT certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Candidates should demonstrate employment stability and longevity ; frequent job changes/job hopping may be a concern.

Preferred

• Local candidates will be given priority.
• Previous experience in a hospital or health-system outpatient pharmacy is preferred.
• Familiarity with pharmacy information systems is a plus.
