Are you living your life's work?This is a part time/evening shift (32hr.) pharmacy technician I position.Under the direct supervision of Registered Pharmacists, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks: assisting in the preparing and filling of medication orders and medication carts; compounding sterile and non-sterile preparation; distributing medication to patients; performing nursing unit QA inspections; maintaining stock levels in all areas of the hospital.High School Diploma or equivalent and Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is required. This person must be able to perform dosage calculations; have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of hospital personnel; perform basic office environment tasks; have the aptitude to maintain proficiency in all Pharmacy computer systems, automated dispensing cabinet software and systems, and all technical equipment required to perform duties; and possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and the Internet. Additionally, this person is expected to satisfactorily pass required hospital and government validation examinations.
