Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) position in Johnson City, New York, involves providing high-quality nursing care within a Medical Surgical Float Position. This role requires candidates to bring their license on the first day and involves working the night shift. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering patient care in accordance with all regulatory and organizational standards, supporting patient-centered care, and engaging in ongoing professional development.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Nursing (RN) experience of six (6) months to three (3) years; Management experience of zero (0) to three (3) years; Five (5) or more years of direct nursing experience; Current NYS RN License; BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross); Epic electronic medical record experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting; Professional certification in a related nursing specialty; Relevant skills certification (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by the assigned unit.
• Additional Information: The RN will perform duties following all organizational values and policies, participate in professional development, contribute to a collaborative team environment, and follow all facility-specific standards including SOPs and safety protocols.
