Business / Data Analyst
Location: San Jose, CA
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience with SQL, writing queries, business intelligence tools, analytics/advanced analytics, and predictive modeling.
- 1 year of experience in analytics.
- Experience querying SQL/relational databases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, and/or Data Science.
- Experience with data warehouses, CRM data, ERP data, and other data repositories and environments.
- Experience with Google Cloud BigQuery and Data Studio.
- Experience in analytics within sales or marketing.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data from multiple sources. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data and provide insights and recommendations.
- Interpret data and analyze results using various statistical techniques and tools. Present data and analysis in a clear and concise manner allowing the audience to quickly understand the results and recommendations.
- Provide actionable analysis, reporting, and core metric dashboarding/visualization to improve business processes and roadmap prioritization through the data-driven decision making and ROI analysis.
- Participate in and contribute to various projects relating to sales planning, sales compensation, deal pricing, partner attach product usage, and field coverage.
- Define critical key performance indicators (KPIs) and build core dashboards to help teams drive operational rigor and manage performance.
- Provide ongoing and ad hoc reporting and support to the Data team and internal business partners.
