Senior Manager – Global Merchandise Planning Insights Overview Join Levi Strauss & Co.’s Global Merchandise Planning Insights team as a Senior Manager. In this role you will drive smarter, faster decisions across planning, supporting product investment decisions, financial targets and profitable growth for our global business. Responsibilities Lead a high‑performing team (2‑3 direct reports) and foster a collaborative culture. Own the merchandise financial planning (MFP) process across global and cluster levels, ensuring alignment with company growth targets. Manage total brand rollups—including long‑range category plans, seasonal assortment frameworks, and cluster MFPs—to keep product strategies financially sound. Drive global in‑season performance recaps through weekly analysis, identifying risks and opportunities to optimize inventory and sales. Lead seasonal hindsight recaps and contribute to MBR/QBR meetings with leadership, providing clear financial narratives and recommendations. Consolidate global buy review and investment review materials to support executive‑level decision‑making. Support pre‑season development milestones with financial inputs highlighting risks and opportunities to revenue or margin targets. Collaborate with cluster teams to gather insights and ensure financial plans reflect both global priorities and cluster needs. Partner with Finance to align merchandise plans with broader financial forecasts and targets. Track performance of key product stories, new fits, and seasonal initiatives to inform future planning cycles. Conduct ad‑hoc deep dives into product, category, or channel performance to uncover drivers of growth or underperformance, and deliver actionable recommendations to cross‑functional partners. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics or a related field. 6+ years of experience in data analytics, planning, business intelligence, or reporting. Proven people‑management skills and experience coaching, developing, and inspiring analysts and cross‑functional teams. Strategic mindset with the ability to ask the right questions and guide partners through data‑driven storytelling. Strong financial acumen and understanding of key DTC and wholesale metrics (e.g., AOV, UPT, sell‑through, margin, inventory turns). Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and statistical analysis techniques. Ability to translate financial data into actionable strategies and influence cross‑functional partners. Experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders in planning, merchandising, and product. Additional perks and incentive compensation vary by role and will be disclosed upon request. Compensation Expected salary range: $135,200 – $198,300 per year (based on location and experience). Final pay may be above or below the posted range. Location & Schedule San Francisco, CA headquarters. Hybrid position: in‑office 3 days per week (typically Tuesday‑Thursday).
