Grant Accountant | 4-Day Work Week | Fully Paid Benefits

Are you an experienced Grant Accountant with a strong understanding of the entire post-award grant accounting cycle and hands-on experience with HUD and HVRP funding? A well-established nonprofit organization with an approximately $85 million operating budget is seeking a talented professional to join its finance team. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full post-award grant accounting process from award setup through final closeout Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis and provide meaningful financial insights to management Prepare financial reports, reimbursement requests, and other required submissions to funding sources Process grant budget modifications and amendments Monitor compliance with grant regulations and funding requirements Oversee grant closeout activities and final reporting Required Experience: Strong working knowledge of HUD (Housing and Urban Development) grants Strong working knowledge of HVRP (Homeless Veterans' Reintegration Program) funding and reporting requirements Proven experience managing the full post-award grant accounting cycle Advanced budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis skills Why This Opportunity Stands Out: 4-day work week 100% employer-paid medical benefits for either individual or family coverage Stable organization with an $85 million operating budget Collaborative leadership team and positive work environment Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Please note that this schedule is a core requirement of the role and is non-negotiable.
