Job Title: Lamination Production Operator Job Description

This role operates and supports lamination and related production equipment in a printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing environment. You will follow established production priorities, adhere to documented processes and procedures, and ensure that all products meet quality and specification requirements. The position involves hands-on machine operation, monitoring and documenting process data, assisting teammates, and actively contributing to continuous improvement activities.

• Follow the detailed training plan as specified in the Results Producing Management (RPM) schedule and apply learned skills consistently on the production floor.
• Operate lamination and related production equipment in accordance with established production priorities set by the Lamination Supervisor.
• Adhere to all company and departmental processes and procedures to ensure consistent, safe, and efficient operations.
• Monitor the quality of work in real time and verify compliance with process and product specifications for all PCB lamination activities.
• Communicate any changes in production status promptly to the department supervisor to support accurate planning and scheduling.
• Report material inventory concerns to the department supervisor to help prevent shortages and production delays.
• Maintain and update statistical process control (SPC) data collection charts to support process monitoring and improvement.
• Assist lower-level employees in basic equipment set-up and operations, providing guidance and coaching as needed.
• Provide relief support on equipment and processes to ensure continuous production coverage during breaks or absences.
• Acquire and continuously improve knowledge of internal and external customer needs to align production output with expectations.
• Participate and contribute actively in red bead, quality, or production meetings to support problem solving and process improvement.
• Participate in the evaluation of processes, new equipment, facility improvements, and procedures, offering feedback from a production perspective.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.

• 3–5 years of experience in a printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with production and general machine operation in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to operate lamination equipment and related production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Experience in electronics or PCB assembly and packaging processes.
• Capability to monitor product quality and verify compliance with process and product specifications.
• Ability to maintain and interpret statistical process control (SPC) data collection charts.
• Strong communication skills to report production status and material inventory concerns to supervisors.
• Ability to assist and guide lower-level employees in basic set-up and operations.
• Familiarity with following structured training plans and documented procedures.
• Commitment to following company policies and procedures, including safety and quality requirements.

• Background in general production, machine operation, or lamination within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience participating in quality, production, or continuous improvement meetings.
• Interest in contributing to the evaluation and implementation of new equipment, processes, and facility improvements.
• Customer-focused mindset with an interest in understanding internal and external customer requirements.
• Willingness to provide relief support on various equipment and processes as needed.

This position operates in a PCB manufacturing facility focused on lamination and related production processes. You will work with production machinery, including lamination and general machine operation equipment, and handle electronics, assembly, and packaging tasks as needed. The environment emphasizes adherence to documented processes, statistical process control (SPC) data collection, and participation in quality and production meetings. Work is full time and may involve standing for extended periods, working near machinery, and following all safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures appropriate for a manufacturing setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Milpitas, CA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
