Accounting Intern

The TL;DR Role: Intern/Co-op Type: Full-time Location: In-person, Findlay, OH Pay: $20.19-$25.24 hourly Team: Controller's Organization Mission: This person supports various accounting functions, gaining practical experience and contributing to financial operations within the petroleum industry. What You'll Actually Do Document Processing: Analyze and process business documents within the accounting framework. Financial Analysis: Analyze accounting and financial data to prepare proper financial statement journal entries. Account Reconciliation: Prepare general ledger account reconcilements to ensure accuracy. Compliance & Reporting: Prepare tax information and test SOX and Non-SOX controls during auditing processes. Budget Assistance: Assist in the preparation of budgets for various departments or projects. The Must-Haves Background: Concurrent enrollment in a bachelor's degree (or higher) seeking program in Accounting is required, though other business majors may be considered. This is an Entry-Level position. Experience: No specific prior experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided. Candidates must demonstrate strong academic performance. Skills: Must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future, and able to provide reliable transportation to and from the place of work.
