Overview:
\n Our internal medicine practice in Waldorf is seeking a Physician to provide comprehensive internal medicine care with a strong emphasis on chronic disease management and preventive health. No experience is necessary — new grads and experienced physicians alike are encouraged to apply for this full-time, Monday–Friday role.

Position Offers:

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed history taking, physical examinations, and appropriate diagnostic workups
\n
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
\n
• Document all patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in the EHR, ensuring compliance with practice and regulatory standards
\n
• Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary providers to ensure seamless, integrated care for complex patients
\n
• Provide patient counseling and education on diagnoses, treatment options, medications, lifestyle modification, and preventive health strategies
\n
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results, adjusting management plans based on clinical findings and patient response
\n
• Participate in case discussions, care conferences, and interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes
\n
• Contribute to practice quality improvement initiatives, including population health management and adherence to clinical guidelines
\n

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program
\n
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
\n
• Active, current medical licensure (MD/DO) in Maryland
\n
