Pay Rate: $50 - $60 per hour
Shift : 7:00AM - 7:30PM

Responsibilities:

Provide safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research.
Deliver patient care using the Relationship Centered Care model and nursing process.
Assess and evaluate patient care needs and apply critical thinking skills.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team in care planning.
Prioritize patient care, including teaching, rounding, and planning for after hospital care.
Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, health promotion, and disease prevention.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Manage assignments within the Modified Primary Nursing model.
Role model Relationship Centered Care actions such as Admission Welcome and Bedside Shift Report.
Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
Use evidence-based practices to understand patients' perceptions of care.
Engage in service recovery for patients and family members with concerns.
Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care.
Implement process improvement strategies based on evidence-based practices.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for quality improvement projects.
Utilize institutional information technology for documentation.

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience.
Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
NYS RN License.
BLS and ACLS Certification.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with ventilators and EPIC systems.
Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with 1 year of travel experience for travel positions.
