Job Title: Full Charge Bookkeeper | Public Accounting
Location: Louisville, KY
Salary: $65k-$75k + Benefits: Comprehensive medical/dental/vision, vacation time + PTO, bonus plan, 401(k) 
Requirements:3+ years as bookkeeper or related role with some experience in CPA environment

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team! This position is responsible for providing day-to-day financial activities, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Position Overview: The Full Charge Bookkeeper will provide accounting services for the company, including bookkeeping, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, reconciliations, sales tax, financial statements, and QuickBooks.
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily bookkeeping activities, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Prepare and file tax returns.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform other accounting duties, as needed.
• Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent experience, Bachelors preferred.
  • 3+ years experience as a bookkeeper or related role with some experience preparing and filing tax returns in a public accounting setting.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Successful candidates must submit to post-offer drug and background screenings and education verification.
