Residential Carpenter & Remodeling Technician

Build Your Career With TruBlue Are you an experienced residential carpenter or remodeling professional who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, enjoys helping people, and believes how you treat customers matters just as much as the work you perform? TruBlue of Great Hills and Georgetown is a locally owned, family-operated business specializing in residential repairs, home improvements, and small-to-medium remodeling projects. We also help older adults live safely and independently through home safety and accessibility improvements. We handle marketing, sales, scheduling, and billing so you can focus on your craft and on taking great care of our customers. What You’ll Do Independently assess projects, determine labor hours and materials, and complete assigned work. Perform residential repairs, finish carpentry, bathroom and kitchen updates, flooring, drywall, doors, decks, and other improvements. Take ownership of projects from assessment through completion, including multi-day jobs. Treat every customer and their home with respect, patience, and care, recognizing that some customers may need additional time or explanation. Keep customers and operations informed, explaining the work, answering questions, and flagging schedule changes, scope changes, or customer concerns early. Provide technical estimates while our sales team handles proposals, pricing, follow-up, and closing. Complete job closeout, including a customer walkthrough, documentation, and collecting payment according to company procedures. Maintain clean, safe, and organized worksites. What We’re Looking For 5+ years of paid professional experience in residential carpentry, remodeling, or home repairs. Proficiency in at least three residential trades, such as carpentry, drywall, tile, flooring, bathroom improvements, or painting. Ability to troubleshoot, complete projects independently, and recognize when additional expertise is required. A genuine commitment to customer service: patience, empathy, respect, and clear communication. Dependability and punctuality, along with a willingness to follow company scheduling, estimating, and job-management processes. Reliable transportation, professional tools, and ability to pass a job-related background check consistent with applicable law. Work requiring licensed trade professionals is handled separately. What We Offer $30–$45/hour, based on experience and capabilities. Paid estimating time, including authorized estimates that don’t turn into jobs. A team that treats you right: on-time pay, respect for your expertise, and owners who back you up. Sales and office support so you can focus on craftsmanship and customer care. Variety of work, from residential repairs to multi-day remodeling projects. Meaningful work helping families and older adults maintain safe, comfortable homes. Schedule This is a full-time position with hours that ramp up as projects book. Initial weeks may be below 40 hours, building to a full-time weekday schedule as our project volume grows. Work assignments and schedules are coordinated by our operations team. If you take pride in your craftsmanship, treat people right, and believe every homeowner deserves respect and dependable service, we’d like to meet you. #J-18808-Ljbffr TruBlue of Great Hills
