Job Responsibilities

• Perform detailed assessments of patients, encompassing thorough physical examinations and in-depth medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical ailments by interpreting imaging results and laboratory data
• Collaborate intimately with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing operating rooms, securing patient positioning, and delivering surgical instruments with precision
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, involving medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree acquired from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of surgical-focused clinical rotations is highly advantageous

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification is a must
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant necessary
