Job Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of diagnostic imaging and lab findings

• Offer essential intraoperative support, from preparing the operating room to ensuring optimal patient positioning and managing instrument hand-offs
• Provide outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wound care, planning discharges, and educating patients about their recovery

Education Requirements

• A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice is highly preferred

Certifications Needed

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physician Assistant
