Contract Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity - Outpatient Clinic
Location: Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center
Contract Duration: September 1, 2025 - August 31, 2030
Shifts: Rotating 8- or 12-hour weekday shifts, with 4-hour weekend shifts
On-Call/Standby: Not required Contract Structure Base Period: 6 months (September 1, 2025 - February 28, 2026) Optional Extensions: Up to nine (9) additional 6-month option periods (total of 5 years) Open Positions: Three (3) Registered Nurses for outpatient clinic services Key Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and coordinate outpatient care plans Administer medications and treatments, including IVs, oral medications, and injections Operate basic clinical equipment such as EKG machines, blood pressure monitors, and glucometers Educate patients and families on preventive health and rehabilitation practices Accurately document all care provided in the electronic medical record (EMR) in accordance with facility standards Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals Deliver professional, respectful, and culturally competent patient care Assist with phone calls and appointment scheduling as needed Facility Schedule Weekdays: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Weekends: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Shifts are assigned by the Director of Nursing or designee and may vary based on facility needs Minimum Requirements Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state or territory Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification At least one (1) year of RN experience Compliance with all health and immunization requirements prior to start, including: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, and Tdap All medical documentation must be submitted before contract start date Opportunity Summary
