About the Role:
MJ Barber & Beauty Academy is seeking a passionate, motivated, and experienced Licensed Esthetics Instructor to join our growing team. We are looking for a beauty professional who loves education, inspires students, and is committed to helping future estheticians succeed in the beauty industry.
Responsibilities:
- Teach both theory and hands-on esthetics training
- Educate students on skincare, facials, waxing, sanitation, makeup, and professional techniques
- Prepare students for state board examinations and career success
- Monitor student progress, attendance, and performance
- Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive classroom environment
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and state regulations
- Assist with curriculum development and student mentoring
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid California esthetician license required (minimum 3 years)
- Beauty industry experience
- Previous teaching experience is a plus
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Passion for education and student success
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
