Position:  Production Supervisor

Location: Mobile, AL

Pay: $60k to $70k/year

Experience: 2+ years of employment with a food processing company, preferably in the seafood industry.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: 4 12-hour shifts; Sunday - Saturday, 6:00am to 6:00pm

Clark Personnel is seeking a  Production Supervisor to join a growing and dynamic team! 

Job Description:

• Direct line leads on production tasks based on daily production.
• Monitor the given room on staff attendance, time clock awareness, daily productivity, etc.
• Assists with training new hires. (Includes and is not limited to approving vacation, correcting missed punches, creating schedules, etc.)
• Understands how to build a production plan and where to locate the information.
• Understands how each machine operates and is able to give detailed instructions on how to use each machine.
• Assists QA with monitoring product quality, styling of product in trays, product flow, etc.
• Learn and explain the importance of Lean Manufacturing.
• Double-check the leads and the information entered into the machines.
• Implement GMPs and hold the leads accountable for their actions.
• Responsible for weekly meetings, informing employees of upcoming changes, communicating when goals have been reached, and when we need to work on certain goals.

Position Requirements:

• Excellent management skills, verbal and written communication skills, and attitude.
• Basic math skills
• Be able to stand for 8 to 10 hours a day in cold and wet environments.
• Working knowledge of GMP’s, Safety programs, and Lean Manufacturing
• Trained in HACCP and general understanding of Quality Assurance
