Healthcare Server, Part-time & PRN

The Cypress of Charlotte is looking for a warm, service-minded Healthcare Server to join our team! In this role, you'll help create a welcoming dining experience for our health center residents by preparing and serving meals that match their individualized dietary needs.

Schedule: 4:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and must be available on weekends

Pay: $15 - 15.86 per hour (depending on experience) + $600 Sign On Bonus!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare simple desserts and salads with care.
• Serve meals in the health center with a friendly, attentive approach.
• Set up dining room tables before mealtimes and clear/refresh them afterward.
• Delivers hot and cold foods and non-food items to residents at the health center to support a smooth meal service.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of six months' experience in nursing home food service preferred.
• Fundamental working knowledge of therapeutic diets, sanitation and personal hygiene.
• Ability to understand, follow and perform simple arithmetic.
• Ability to plan and organize work, set up trays and plates in accordance with diet orders and interpret specifications and standards.
• Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers. Requires empathy for the elderly.
• Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
