Summary:Responsible for leading a comprehensive full-service Information Technology function for Summa Health supporting Provider (Hospitals and Medical group) and Insurance operations. Evaluates new technologies to determine when and how technologies can and should be used in Summa. Anticipates and coordinates Information Technology & Services' internal and external client requirements to establish a consistent goals and direction for Information Technology & Services as it relates to the mission of Summa. Works in conjunction with the Chief Medical Information Officer and the Summa Health Executive Staff to develop, implement, and maintain the Information Technology Strategic Plan for the System that supports the Summa Health Strategic Plan. Minimum Qualifications:1. Formal Education Required:a. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field, Masters Degree preferred2. Experience & Training Required:a. Seven (7) to Ten (10) years of experience leading a complex information technology function within a healthcare system environmentb. Five (5) years in direct support roles within information technologyc. Demonstrated knowledge of Provider (Hospital and Medical Group) and Insurance operations.3.
