Metal Fabricator

We are hiring a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team in Las Vegas. As a Metal Fabricator you will be responsible for shaping, cutting and assembling metal parts to create various structures and products according to blueprints and specifications. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications to determine the layout of metal parts Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on metal sheets or plates Cut shape bend and weld metal pieces using various tools such as plasma cutters shears press brakes and welding equipment Grind file and smooth out rough edges or joints of metal parts Assemble fabricated metal parts using bolts screws rivets or welding techniques Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications using measuring tools such as calipers or micrometers Maintain inventory of materials and equipment needed for fabrication projects Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working with heavy machinery and hazardous materials Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in metalworking preferred Minimum of 2 years experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role in the manufacturing industry Proven ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately Proficient with various hand tools such as plasma cutters grinders saws etc Strong understanding of different welding techniques MIGTIG and ability to operate welding equipment safely Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team We are an equal opportunity employer offering competitive salary $1300month and benefits package.
