Food Server

Dining Room Server Position

To provide quality service to hotel restaurant guests by providing prompt, courteous and knowledgeable food and beverage service.

• Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Reviews menu with diners, suggesting dinner courses, appropriate wines, and answering questions regarding food and cocktail preparations.
• Enters orders accurately in POS and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
• Garnishes and decorates dishes preparatory to serving.
• Observes diners to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed.
• Presents bill and processes payment
• Replenishes supplies and prepares for the next meal.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must also be able to go up and down a flight of stairs while carrying up to 25 pounds. The employee may be frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise is usually moderate to loud.
