Medical Assistant Lead

Job Overview Become a part of our caring community. The Medical Assistant 4 is the first contact for patient care. Responsibilities include administrative tasks in addition to patient care. The Medical Assistant 4 assumes ownership and leads advanced and specialized administrative/operational/customer support tasks that require independent initiative and judgment. Location Conviva Senior Primary Care Office Located At 4886 N Dowlen Rd., Beaumont, TX 77708 Reporting To Manager, Clinic/Center Administration Job Responsibilities Perform clinical responsibilities such as discussing symptoms and gathering information. Input information into the electronic medical records system. Take vital signs, give injections, and perform diagnostic tests. Collect specimens and draw blood. Sterilize and clean equipment and maintain examination rooms at an outpatient care site. Collaborate with Physicians and Nurses. Deliver direct patient care dependent on what active certification allows. Make decisions regarding the daily priorities for an administrative work group or external vendors, coordinate work activities and monitor progress toward schedules/goals. Oversee the work of others. Be the primary administrative owner of a main process, program, product, or technology. Work within broad guidelines. Required Qualifications Certified or Registered Phlebotomy Experience Medication/vaccine administration experience 3+ years MA Experience High school diploma or equivalent CPR Certified Screen for TB (if selected for this role) Other Qualifications 1+ years MA experience in PCO center Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience Leadership experience Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish Working Hours 40 hours per week. Pay Range $48,300 - $65,900 per year. Eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
