Qualis LLC is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, implementation, modernization, and support of enterprise IT infrastructure supporting government and defense programs. The ideal candidate will possess deep experience in cloud architecture, enterprise identity, cybersecurity, virtualization, Microsoft technologies, and hybrid infrastructure environments. This individual will provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, and architect scalable, secure solutions supporting DFARS, NIST 800-171, and CMMC compliance initiatives.

Essential Duties

• Architect, design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across Azure GCC High, AWS GovCloud, and on-premises environments.
• Lead enterprise cloud modernization initiatives involving Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Design secure hybrid infrastructure supporting classified and unclassified development environments.
• Lead architecture for UTM, CyberArk or equiv., BeyondTrust, Keeper, Kiteworks, RSA, Veeam, Splunk, and Datadog platforms.
• Design enterprise identity and access management including Active Directory, Entra ID, SSO, Conditional Access, and PAM.
• Architect storage, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Support GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Harbor, Linux and Windows platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to infrastructure teams.
• Support CMMC, NIST 800-171, DFARS, and RMF compliance initiatives.
• Develop architecture standards, documentation, and technical roadmaps.
• Troubleshoot complex enterprise infrastructure issues.

Required Qualifications

• Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred. Equivalent military or industry experience may be substituted.

• Experience:
  • 10+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering and architecture.
  • Experience with Azure GCC High and/or AWS GovCloud.
  • Expertise in Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows enterprise environments.
  • Experience implementing CMMC, NIST 800-171, DFARS, or RMF solutions.
  • Government/DoD contracting experience preferred .
