Position Highlights :
- Serve as the Chief of Health Services for Illinois Department of Corrections
- Full-line supervision of senior clinical and administrative leaders
- Liaison for external relations
- Ensure compliance with NCCHC, ACA, state and federal mandates
- Conduct facility visits, evaluate credentialing, clinical performance
- 100% Administrative role, no clinical responsibility
Compensation & Benefits :
- Compensation: $239,268-$345,084
- Benefits Package: Health, Dental, Vision
- Retirement: Pension and Deferred compensation plan
Qualifications :
- Licensed MD or DO, ability to obtain Illinois medical license
- Senior-level healthcare executive with 4-7+ years of medical administrative leadership
- Experience in complex healthcare systems - preferably in correctional, government, public health, or safety-net environments
- Proven experience with healthcare regulatory compliance, accreditation, and legal oversight environments
