Field Clinical Specialist - Shockwave Medical (Columbia, MO)

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Field Clinical Specialist for Shockwave Medical to provide procedural case support and clinical training for Intravascular Lithotripsy technology across peripheral and coronary interventional cases. The role involves physician training, clinical study management, and cross-territory support in a medical device commercialization environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician and hospital staff training on safe and effective device use during procedures
• Present clinical study training materials including protocols, instructions for use, and case report forms to support investigational programs
• Manage relationships with key study investigators and clinical leaders through direct collaboration
• Support data collection, site re-training, and resolution of critical issues across clinical research programs
• Manage territory travel, budgets, and administrative activities; perform case coverage >50% travel requirement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, nursing, or related field
• Minimum 2 years direct interventional or surgical procedure support in hospital setting, or 1 year industry/hospital life sciences sales support experience
• Working knowledge of clinical research, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory compliance guidelines
• Product knowledge including medical device reporting and product vigilance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities
