Project Manager

Job Duties

This opportunity supports various business units during a major migration to a single enterprise resource planning (ERP) and field service management system. The initiative adopts consolidated business processes and shared services while integrating modern technology systems. The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, governance, and overseeing the successful delivery of program outputs. This leader manages cross-functional teams consisting of business analysts, technology engineers, external consultants, and business personnel to deploy solutions that enhance processes across multiple operating groups.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with third-party consultants and key business stakeholders to outline milestones and activities required for successful project execution.

Ensure systems and methods are in place to track value capture and overall project success.

Align business units on repeatable processes, shared services, and consolidated employer identification numbers.

Coordinate projects and their interdependencies, manage stakeholder communication, and optimize resource allocation across workstreams.

Prepare and produce comprehensive project management reports, risk and issue mitigation plans, action tracking, timelines, and budgets.

Manage project financials, including detailed budgeting, forecasting, and actuals reporting.

Foster and guide full adoption of standard tools and common business processes across operating units.

Provide leadership and training in the consistent use of the project management office methodology.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: Seven to ten plus years of progressive experience leading the deployment of large, enterprise-scale IT systems or business initiatives with a substantial IT workstream.

Technical Skills: Proven experience building detailed project plans and creating project management artifacts. Extensive knowledge of ERP implementation, transformation methodology, and system integration is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Five to seven years of experience with ERP transformations and integrations, specifically Salesforce.

Prior experience working within manufacturing or distribution environments.

Proven ability to manage contractor and vendor relationships effectively.
