Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Telemetry

Schedule
Patient ratios: Days 5, Nights 7
Weekend coverage: every other week (EOW); number of weekend shifts per contract: 4

Assignment Details
Census/bed count: 14 beds
Type: Med/Surg Tele, ED holding/overflow

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year RN experience required
- NY state license required
- BLS certification required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Phlebotomy and IV insertion competencies required
- Peripheral line care experience
- Dysrhythmia management experience
- Oxygen/non-invasive airway support experience

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.
- Monitor and manage patients with dysrhythmias.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and isolation precautions.
