This role is responsible for improving manufacturing performance, optimizing production flow, enhancing efficiency, and supporting safe, quality-driven operations in a highly regulated and technically demanding environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, manufacturing experience, and a continuous improvement mindset. We are scaling strategically with speed and precision, making this an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to delivering for our customers.Essential Functions:Support the development of “greenfield” facility layouts with optimized product flowAnalyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, throughput, and qualityEvaluate production flow, facility layout, labor utilization, and material movement to optimize operationsSupport capacity planning, line balancing, and production scheduling to meet business and customer requirementsMonitor and report key manufacturing performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesConduct time studies, productivity assessments, and workflow analysisLead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis toolsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve operational performanceSupport introduction of new products, equipment, and manufacturing processes into productionEnsure all work is performed in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirementsProvide on-floor manufacturing support and recommend solutions to complex production challengesAbility to work collaboratively in a cross-functional manufacturing environmentQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills:Experience in aerospace, defense, propulsion, or other regulated manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with rocket motor manufacturing or similarly complex production systemsSix Sigma certification and/or Lean certificationKnowledge of capacity analysis, production scheduling, and continuous improvement methodsExperience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or PythonKnowledge of facility optimization, discrete event simulation, or advanced industrial engineering methodsExperience supporting complex, high-reliability, or highly regulated manufacturing operationsStrong knowledge of process improvement, production planning, capacity analysis, and manufacturing performance metricsExperience with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, value stream mapping, and root cause analysisStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsEffective written and verbal communication skills#LI-WN1
