Medical Office Specialist

Full‑time (Monday‑Friday, days) position with no nights, no on‑call, no weekends, and no holidays. We are seeking a Medical Office Specialist to provide clerical expertise and ensure all patients receive high‑quality, efficient care. Responsibilities Work at the reception desk, answer phones, greet and communicate with patients and providers. Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments. Check patients in and properly document registration. Verify insurance and patient demographics. File and retrieve medical records/files. Complete copying and faxing duties. Collect co‑pays and cash from patients and authorize credit card transactions. Enter charges, process payments, and balance the day on the computer. Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications One to three years of experience in a medical office setting (preferred). High School Diploma or GED (required). Experience using an EHR system (highly preferred).
