Occupational Therapy - Occupational Therapist (OT)Full-time Occupational Therapist role, 35 hours/week, Monday through Friday with weekends as needed. No weekend rotation required. Position involves providing skilled OT care for residents, including those in a specialized dementia unit. The rehab space is currently undergoing renovation, with larger rooms to enhance patient care and therapy delivery. Opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a dynamic environment focused on improving resident function, independence, and quality of life.Responsibilities include performing patient evaluations, developing and implementing individualized OT treatment plans, assisting residents with ADLs, mobility, cognitive and functional skill training, and monitoring progress. OT will provide skilled interventions for dementia care, fall prevention, and adaptive equipment training. Documentation of patient progress and collaboration with nursing and therapy staff is required to ensure continuity of care and improved resident outcomes.Requirements: Candidates must hold a current OT license and have at least 1 year of clinical experience; new graduates may be considered. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Experience working with dementia patients or in long-term care settings is preferred. Must be able to perform patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide skilled therapy interventions. Professional communication, documentation skills, and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team are essential.
