Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position is located in Reno, Nevada. This role requires providing high-quality care within a busy, fast-paced facility that serves a large regional area. The nurse will be responsible for supporting the labor and delivery unit, with the potential to float to other maternal units, including postpartum and neonatal intensive care units (NICU), based on organizational needs. The position involves night shifts and demands a versatile and experienced professional committed to delivering exceptional maternal care.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Schedule may vary based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and call shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Nevada State Registered Nurse license prior to start, 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery within a high-risk hospital setting, certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: STABLE certification is preferred.
• Position Location: 1155 Mill Street, Reno, NV 89502
• The role involves floating to different maternal units, including labor, antepartum, postpartum, and NICU, to meet patient care demands.
• The facility is a highly active Level II Trauma Center with advanced technologies, serving over 80,000 ER and trauma patients annually, and offers comprehensive maternal and neonatal services.
• The organization may require working major holidays and overtime shifts during the schedule period.
