Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Registered Nurse located in Sparks, Nevada. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care in an acute care setting, with a focus on medical-surgical and telemetry nursing. The RN will work 12-hour day shifts and contribute to patient care excellence while adhering to regulatory and institutional policies.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: Days, 12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; current state or compact nursing license; current NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and BLS (Basic Life Support) certificates; at least 2 years full-time Med Telemetry experience in an acute care setting; must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility; must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Additional Information: The RN is responsible for delivering competent, capable, caring, and efficient patient care. Responsibilities include performing initial and ongoing assessments, completing admission assessments in accordance with facility policies, and interpreting patient data to determine nursing needs. The role requires applying knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan to provide age-appropriate care, as well as making appropriate documentation of assessments and care provided.
