Job Summary We are hiring Warehouse Associates for temp-to-hire opportunities in the Woodridge, IL area, with openings in Glendale Heights and Romeoville. These roles support busy, high-volume distribution operations and are ideal for dependable candidates with warehouse, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or forklift experience. Key Responsibilities Pick, pack, label, stage, and prepare customer orders for outbound shipment. Load, unload, receive, put away, and organize warehouse materials and inventory. Operate forklifts or PIT equipment safely when assigned, while also performing hands‑on warehouse duties. Verify part numbers, quantities, order accuracy, and shipping documentation. Use RF scanners, pick tickets, and basic computer systems to complete warehouse tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety procedures. Compensation and Benefits Pay: $19 to $20 per hour. Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire. Glendale Heights, IL Forklift Associate Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, or 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Romeoville, IL Picker/Packer Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Required Qualifications and Skills Pick, pack, and prepare customer and dealer orders accurately. Move, receive, stage, and organize materials in a high-volume warehouse setting. Operate forklift or PIT equipment safely for forklift‑assigned openings. Complete shipping, receiving, inventory, and order documentation accurately. 1 to 2 years of warehouse, distribution, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or related experience preferred. Previous forklift experience is required for forklift associate openings. Ability to use RF scanners, pick tickets, and basic computer systems. Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify part numbers, quantities, and order accuracy. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and move materials throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high-volume warehouse environment. Reliable, safety‑focused, and able to work well with picking, shipping, inventory, and quality teams. Must be willing to perform hands‑on warehouse duties, including significant picking and packing work. Protective safety shoes are required and must meet site safety standards, including ASTM F-2413-11 requirements where applicable. Candidates must successfully pass a 7-year criminal background check and 5-panel drug screen. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Recent forklift experience. Valid forklift certification. Experience in a high-volume distribution or production environment. Experience picking, packing, shipping, or handling HVAC parts, service components, or similar inventory. Experience completing written and computerized shipping and receiving documentation.
