Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Sonographer Specialty: Cardiac Duration: Not specified Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty License: Not specified Certifications: RDCS, RVT Must-Have: - BLS certification - Credential in echocardiography: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) - Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) - Additional credential in one of the following: - Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS - Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through CCI - Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography (RS) through ARRT Description: The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac specialty. Candidates must hold BLS certification. An appropriate credential in echocardiography, such as RDCS, is required. Additional credentials relevant to vascular technology are also necessary. Candidates must be willing to work 2 major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Additionally, one minor holiday, such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve, is mandatory.
