Job Description

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides direct care to acutely/critically ill patients who are at high risk for life-threatening health problems. The ICU offers care through advanced knowledge and experience in a setting that provides intensive monitoring, assessments, and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and monitoring of patient conditions.
• Administer medications and implement treatment plans as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in training and mentorship of nursing staff as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification required.
• AHA ACLS and TNCC certifications required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Previous ICU experience preferred.
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required.
