Structural Designer – Industrial Projects (Concrete & Steel)

Location: Dothan, AL or Jacksonville, FL (In-Office)

Type: Contract-to-Direct (Expected conversion within 6 months)

Pay: $36–$50/hr + overtime (based on experience and education)

We are seeking a Structural Designer to support industrial project work involving concrete and steel structures. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on design, working independently, and contributing to a range of industrial projects.

What You'll Be Doing

Design and develop structural drawings for industrial projects
Create foundation drawings and structural layouts
Perform rebar spacing and preliminary steel sizing
Utilize design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D
Collaborate with engineering teams to support project execution

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3+ years of structural design experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or AutoCAD Plant 3D
Working knowledge of preliminary steel sizing and rebar spacing and detailing
Experience with industrial projects involving concrete and/or steel
Ability to work independently in an in-office environment

Preferred Experience

Background supporting industries such as Pulp & Paper, Chemical, Oil & Gas
Strong experience with concrete and steel structural projects
