Structural CAD Designer

Job Summary The Structural CAD Designer is responsible for drafting and designing a variety of engineering projects including both residential and commercial structures. In addition, the Structural CAD Designer will also help create master engineering plan sets, collaborate with engineers to run calculations, and ensure all designs comply with applicable building code requirements. Work Schedule Fulltime Inperson Important Information Location: 12854 Kenan Dr Suite 125, Jacksonville, FL 32258 Experience Level: 02 years Responsibilities Draft and design engineering construction documents for custom and production homes, remodels, commercial buildings, and other miscellaneous projects Ensure all designs meet safety specifications, industry standards, and legal requirements Utilize company and industry standards to draft and design projects in CAD software Assist in site visits as required and adeptly translate existing structures into comprehensive engineering plans Company Core Values Excellence Our quality work and service are our reputation. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years of age Must be eligible to live and work in the United States Skills Working knowledge of AutoCAD (Revit experience is a plus) Understanding of basic calculations and ability to use spreadsheets Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF softwareAbility to handle and prioritize multiple tasks at once Strong analytical and problemsolving skills Being a team player Detailoriented with strong organizational abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
