Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,492–$2,632 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Start date: 09/21/2026 Setting: Hospital-based Progressive Care Unit travel assignment Overtime available; no on-call requirements; block schedules may vary Responsibilities Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs; develop and execute an individualized plan of care in coordination with the multidisciplinary team Provide patient and family education, explanations, and instructions regarding care plans and treatment Demonstrate clinical nursing judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition promptly Implement interventions, monitor patient responses, and document care and outcomes accurately Maintain compliant, complete medical records and contribute to quality improvement and core measure initiatives Collaborate with colleagues to sustain a supportive, professional work environment and participate in ongoing continuing education Requirements Current Illinois Registered Nurse license Current CPR/BLS certification ACLS certification NIHSS certification or documented requirement to possess NIHSS Ability to work in a hospital setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Willingness to work nights, with the potential for every other weekend and holiday coverage Overtime availability with flexible scheduling, while block schedules cannot be guaranteed Experience or demonstrated ability to float to ICU when needed (preferred) Benefits and Support Travel assignment support and dedicated recruiter assistance Overtime opportunities available for those who want it Structured 13-week assignment with guaranteed hours Night shift with potential for preferred scheduling accommodations where feasible
