Nurse Practitioner

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) seeks a nurse practitioner to join our Hematology/Oncology team at the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC), an award‑winning Level II Trauma Center. With over 30 medical specialties, ANMC serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people across the state. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive histories and physical exams for adult oncology and hematology patients. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Prescribe medications. Develop individualized treatment plans. Educate patients and families on treatment options, chemotherapy, procedures, and care plans. Work Schedule Full time; Monday through Friday; four 10‑hour shifts per week; 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM; no evenings, weekends or on‑call required. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Nursing. Certification as a Family Medicine or Adult/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by an approved national certifying body. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification. State of Alaska Advanced Practice Nurse License. Preferred 2 to 5 years of post‑graduate experience managing hematology/oncology patients and OCN or AOCNP certification.
