Dining Room Server - Lakeview Dining

Lakeview Location: 2425 Lower State Rd, Doylestown, PA 18901

Dining Room Server Compensation from $15.00/hr to $16.00/hr - (based upon experience)

Status/Shift:

• PRN Evenings 4:30pm-8pm (Occasional weekends/holidays)
• Part-Time Evenings 4:30pm-8pm (every other weekend/holiday)

The Dining Room Server is responsible for preparing dining areas for meals, serving food in a timely manner. This position also assists with the cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen and dining area in addition to kitchenware and equipment.


Qualifications:

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to read and write
• Ability to work independently or as a team
• Excellent customer services skills

Expectations and Responsibilities of the Dining Room Server:

• Prepare dining areas for meals; this may include setting tables with dinnerware and decoration
• Serve accurate and attractive meals in a timely manner
• Ensure proper food temperature when serving
• Communicate with and respond to customer meal requests
• Obtain meal orders
• Monitor and maintain proper levels of supplies and food items in work areas and dining rooms
• May observe and report changes in residents dining habits to appropriate personnel in a timely manner
• Maintain adequate cleanliness of dining services equipment and work area
• Ensure proper storage of food items according to policy
• May operate dishwasher when appropriate
