Program ManagerMunro is seeking an experienced Consulting Program Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused consulting environment and enjoys leading complex technical engagements from concept through execution. This role is ideal for someone who wants more than traditional project management. Rather than managing a single internal program, you will partner directly with industry-leading manufacturers, work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams, and help customers solve complex product, manufacturing, and business challenges.As a Consulting Program Manager, you will lead customer engagements involving benchmarking, cost reduction, product optimization, manufacturing improvement, and strategic consulting initiatives. You will serve as the primary liaison between customers and Munro's technical teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable business impact.Every engagement at Munro is different. You'll work directly with leading manufacturers, collaborate with experts across multiple engineering disciplines, and help customers solve real-world product and manufacturing challenges.Lead high-impact consulting engagements across multiple industries.Work alongside experts in engineering, manufacturing, benchmarking, and product costing.Build trusted relationships with customer teams and executive stakeholders.Deliver measurable improvements in cost, quality, and manufacturing performance.Grow your consulting, leadership, and business development skills.Key responsibilities include:Leading customer engagements from kickoff through completion, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer expectations.Serving as the primary customer contact, building strong relationships and coordinating communication between customers and Munro teams.Coordinating multidisciplinary engineering resources while managing project priorities, risks, and deliverables.Facilitating customer meetings, technical reviews, workshops, and executive presentations.Managing project financial performance, including budgets, invoicing, resource utilization, and forecasting.Supporting proposal development, statements of work, project extensions, and follow-on consulting opportunities.Maintaining project schedules, documentation, resource plans, and time tracking using company project management systems, including Replicon.Driving continuous improvement while ensuring every engagement delivers measurable customer value.You are likely to be successful in this role if you:Enjoy working directly with customers and building long-term relationships.Thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment.Can lead cross-functional technical teams while balancing multiple priorities.Communicate effectively with engineers, manufacturing teams, and executive leadership.Take ownership, solve problems proactively, and drive projects forward.Want to grow into larger consulting engagements and leadership responsibilities.Qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.5+ years of program or project management experience within engineering, consulting, manufacturing, automotive, or a related technical industry.Proven success managing complex customer projects and cross-functional teams.Strong customer relationship management, organizational, and communication skills.Experience managing project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and financial performance.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience using Replicon or similar project management software is preferred.Ability to travel approximately 10–15% for customer meetings, workshops, and project support.Experience in one or more of the following is beneficial:Engineering consultingAutomotive or manufacturingProduct developmentProduct costingBenchmarking and competitive analysisCost reduction or value engineeringLean manufacturing or continuous improvementAt Munro, you'll work alongside industry experts while building the consulting, leadership, and customer-facing skills needed to advance your career.
