Registered Nurse (RN)

Immediate Registered Nurse (RN) contract opportunity at our Corporate Health Center in Frederick, MD. As an Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide comprehensive occupational health services to employees at the client Health Center in Frederick, Maryland. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, phlebotomy experience, and the ability to work autonomously. Occupational health experience is highly preferred, while candidates with ER, urgent care, or ambulatory care backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Pay Rate: $66.00/hr Work Schedule: Tuesday through Friday: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM 32 hours per week Contract Details: Start Date: ASAP End Date: 12/31/2026 (possible extension) Job Details: Evaluate patient care needs, prioritize treatment, and maintain patient flow. Responsibilities include lab draw, adult immunizations/injections, vitals, rooming patients, assistance with inventory/ordering. Collect patient history and physical assessment and by obtaining vital signs and other medical tests. Performs occupational and health screening tests (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision). Administers medications and medical treatments Qualifications: Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required At least three years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or other ambulatory care clinic Experience in strategies to promote and maintain healthy, safe, and productive workplaces, including: partners to identify/mitigate workplace hazards, health screenings/education, fitness for duty, and return to work exams Benefits: Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) #J-18808-Ljbffr
