Shift & Schedule: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 Hours/Week

Pay Rate
Local: $66 – $70/hour
Traveler: $74 – $78/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide psychiatric nursing care for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in an acute behavioral health setting.

Required Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) Registration.

• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience within the past 2 years in a comparable acute care facility or trauma center.

• Inpatient clinical experience with adult and adolescent psychiatric populations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an unblemished professional license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Records.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric nursing care to child, adolescent, and adult patients in an acute behavioral health setting.

• Perform mental health assessments, crisis interventions, and patient care planning.

• Document clinical tracking, medication administration, and behavioral evaluations accurately in the EMR.

• Maintain safety standards, therapeutic patient-to-staff ratios, and de-escalation protocols.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary mental health team, psychiatric providers, and family members.

• Work flexible night shifts, including every other weekend and designated holidays.
