Clinical Lab Technician - Entry level, will train!

Labcorp seeks an entry-level clinical lab technician to perform specimen testing and routine laboratory procedures under supervision. The role involves operating laboratory equipment, maintaining reagent records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in a fast-paced diagnostic laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform specimen testing procedures according to established protocols under technical oversight
- Track receipt, usage, and expiration dates for reagents, kits, controls, and standards
- Operate calibrated pipetting devices and automated laboratory equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and document findings appropriately
- Record all laboratory activities and maintain compliance documentation for regulatory bodies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Science, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work overtime and alternative shifts as needed
- Prior lab experience preferred but not required
Compensation: $24.00-$30.00 per hour plus 3rd shift differential
