Clinical Lab Technician - Esoterix - Entry level, will train!
$24 - $30 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks an entry-level clinical lab technician for its Calabasas Hills facility to perform specimen testing and maintain laboratory equipment under supervision. The position offers training and works a Wednesday-Saturday evening shift with potential for career growth in diagnostic laboratory services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct specimen testing following established protocols under clinical lab scientist oversight
- Track and manage reagent, kit, and control expiration dates and usage
- Perform precise pipetting using calibrated and approved laboratory devices
- Execute preventative equipment maintenance and document all maintenance activities
- Maintain detailed records including quality control logs and troubleshooting documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology
- Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced settings
- Prior lab experience preferred but not required
Compensation: $24.00-$30.00 per hour plus shift differential
