Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Albuquerque, NM, responsible for overseeing automotive financing and insurance products for customers. This role involves working closely with the sales team and customers to structure leases and loans, secure approvals, and present financing options in a clear and transparent manner. The Finance Manager prepares and reviews all finance and lease documentation, ensures compliance with all regulatory and lender requirements, and maintains accurate records. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing credit applications, submitting deals to lenders, managing finance product offerings, and monitoring finance department performance and profitability. The Finance Manager also helps train sales staff on finance processes, promotes ethical standards, and supports an exceptional customer experience from purchase through delivery. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong financial analysis and budgeting skills, including the ability to interpret credit reports, structure deals, and evaluate risk. Candidates should possess knowledge of automotive finance, leasing, and F&I products, including extended warranties, service contracts, and insurance offerings. Candidates should possess skills in regulatory and compliance practices, such as understanding lender guidelines, privacy laws, and relevant federal and state regulations. Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills, including clear explanation of finance terms, active listening, and the ability to build trust with diverse customers. Candidates should possess negotiation and sales skills, including the ability to present options, overcome objections ethically, and close deals that meet customer and business needs. Relevant qualifications include prior experience in automotive finance or dealership F&I, proficiency with dealership management and finance software, and strong attention to detail.
