Payroll Specialist Must be on site - Not Hybrid or Remote What You Must Have:

• High school diploma or its equivalent required
• Minimum of three years of experience in payroll; multi-state experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and computer literacy
• Experience with implementation of an HCM/HRIS/HRMS strongly preferred
• Comfortable navigating through Department of Labor and other complex regulations
• Organized work habits, accuracy, and proven attention to detail, with strong analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

What You Will Do:

• Process all employee related personnel data for multiple agencies, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and compliance with policy.
• Process multi-state payroll on a semi-monthly schedule
• Ability to navigate in HCM and EMR system for timekeeping and payroll processing
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance for any I9's, tax documents or other personnel documents
• Serves as liaison between home office HR and all other field sites/departments to influence proactive administration and ensure all approvals or deadlines are communicated for appropriate staff members
• Produce excel reports and create ad hoc ADP reports as needed for quality control outcomes
• Participate in preparing training materials, HR meetings or participate in other projects related to all areas of HR
• Performance of other duties as required
• Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures
