Manufacturing Engineering Manager - In-Vitro Diagnostics

Manufacturing Engineering Manager position overseeing the engineering team at an in-vitro diagnostics company. The role focuses on leading process improvements, managing engineering projects, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring regulatory compliance across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor manufacturing engineering staff with guidance, training, and performance feedback
Develop and execute engineering projects from concept through completion on schedule and budget
Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repairs of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks
Oversee procurement, installation, and validation of new manufacturing equipment and technologies

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
Minimum 5 years manufacturing engineering experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, tooling, and production processes
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
Proficiency in engineering software including SolidWorks, ERP systems, data analysis tools
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Understanding of cGMP and validation preferred

Compensation: $105,500 - $173,450
