Full Stack Developer

Full Stack Developer Location: Dahlgren, VA (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Our client is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support the design, development, testing, and deployment of modern web applications in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full software development lifecycle while supporting mission-critical applications and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications and user interfaces.
• Build and enhance application features using modern development frameworks and technologies.
• Develop and execute automated testing, including unit, functional, performance, and acceptance testing.
• Support backend services, APIs, and database integrations.
• Perform application troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized development environments.
• Assist with Linux-based system administration and scripting tasks.
• Collaborate with developers, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience developing web applications using one or more of the following:
  • Python
  • Java
  • JavaScript
  • .NET
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks and web technologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Familiarity with source control and CI/CD tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of microservices architectures and API development.
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies or related projects.
• Understanding of networking concepts, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent professional experience will be considered.

Clearance Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Compensation

• Salary range: $95,000 - $125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
