Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse, Long Term Care – Travel assignment in Geneva, NY. Start date: 08/25/2026 for 27 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,219 to $1,286. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: Full Time evenings, every other week (EOW). Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility providing long-term care services. This is a travel - temporary assignment with a focus on adult and geriatric resident care under established policies and physician orders.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to assigned residents, supporting comfort, safety, and quality of life under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Collect ongoing data on residents’ physical and psychosocial status and communicate findings to the RN and the interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in the development and modification of resident care plans, incorporating input from residents and families, and ensuring culturally appropriate care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies, while monitoring for adverse effects and reporting changes promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff to coordinate care, respond to changes in condition, and support timely referrals when needed.
- Maintain current nursing competencies, participate in inservice activities, and contribute to orientation and mentoring of other staff as assigned.

Requirements
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in New York (NY LPN)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent RQI acceptable)
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a long-term care facility or similar setting
- Demonstrated ability to care for adult and geriatric residents and to assess age-specific needs
- Availability to start on a Tuesday or Thursday and remain through the full holiday season, with flexibility to work an evening shift on an ongoing basis
